On September 30th about 60 NOCI members, friends and family gathered to celebrate the launch of the 2nd edition of our book, Orchids of Manitoba, a field guide at McNally Robinson. Peggy Bainard Acheson, President introduced the new book with a short background on our organization and then highlighted the new features and updates of the book. Doris Ames, Past President gave a reading from the book. In the background some of the wonderful pictures from the book were projected on a large screen. Following the presentations authors were available for book signing. Thanks to all for attending the book launch!
